  • Refrigerant Compatibility: R12 and R134a [1, 2]
  • Fitting Size: Female 1/4" (7/16"–20 UNF) thread [1, 2, 3]
  • Pressure Operation:
    • Low Pressure: Opens at 15–30 PSI, Closes at 40 PSI
    • High Pressure: Opens at 270–330 PSI, Closes at 120–250 PSI (depending on exact spec sheet) [1, 2, 3]
  • Function: Protects the A/C compressor by shutting it off if system refrigerant pressure drops too low (preventing dry running) or spikes too high (preventing damage)
