SOPHISTICATED ONE-PIECE DESIGNS
FORTE = STRENGTH MEETS PERFORMANCE
7 Gauge Steel keeps bumpers Strong, Sturdy, and Durable.
EVERY BUMPER IS A WORK OF ART
Working with thick steel is tough, and not all machines get it right. Which is why every USA STAR bumper is hand bent.
TOP SPOILER
The function of the top spoiler is to eliminate that gap between the bumper and the hood, giving your truck an authentic look.
INTEGRATED TIRE PROTECTION
No sharp edges here, bumpers with the tire protection feature know the damage sharp objects can have on new tires. All USA STAR American Eagle bumpers have been upgraded to include a 2” edge, bending away possible tire damage worries.
RUST PROTECTED BACK SIDE
The applied rear protection coat delays the natural wear and corrosion of materials generated by hostile climates, including rain and salt.
REINFORCED FOUNDATION
Every weld spot is bolstered with steel braces for additional holding strength.

TIPS FOR YOUR CHROME’S MAINTENANCE
Routinely wash your bumper with soap and water.
Use a soapy cloth when wiping your bumper clean, working from top to bottom, section by section.
Have a clean dry cloth available to dry off any excess water whether it be from rain, snow, or maintenance.
Once everything is dry, add shine or gleam to it by using a polish. Use our USA STAR Metal Polish!
Assure the truck wash service doesn’t use any acids when washing your truck.
Don’t make holes in your bumper or tighten bolts too much as this can compromise your chrome.
STRAY PAINT?
This bumper is a custom steel (7 gauge) product hand bent to what you see today. The front of your bumper is covered in chrome and the back in paint. The back paint procedure is done after the chrome has been applied. For this reason, you may find specks or strips of the gray paint solution on parts of the chrome — don’t panic, easily wipe away this stray paint with household acetone to reveal your shiny chrome.
BUMPER INSTALLATION
General tips for a better, longer lasting installation.
After years of use, not all truck chassis are the same. With that said, not all installations can be done exactly the same; but there are general guidelines we can use as a blueprint to aim towards a better installation experience. The vibration is the worst enemy for metal, let’s protect the metal!
WRAP-AROUND BUMPERS
Front mounting is an essential part of installing your bumper and one area to really make sure is properly done. Use of flat washer in the front/back is important, to not have the bolt spin on the face of the chrome.
(Bolt hole placement will vary depending on truck model.)
When mounting, using stainless steel bolts should give you the best results. Also keep in mind that the installation should be done by hand and no impact or ratchet tool/equipment should be used. You want all bolts properly done, tightening enough to hold your bumper but not overtightened as that may compromise your chrome. Use of threadlock (glue) on bolt threads provides resistance to bolts loosening from vibration and stress.
There are 2 important considerations to take when it comes to adding bracket support to your wrap-around heavy duty chrome bumper.
1. Support beam from the chassis to the bumper area near the curve that wraps.
2. Additional sturdiness by creating a connection between the front of the bumper and the chassis.
(If rubber bushings are needed, use them)
STRAIGHT AND/OR FLAT BUMPERS
The front mounting is just as important for the flat bumpers, as this is the main form of support your bumper will have to stay on your truck.
Support beams from the chassis to the bumper are a must. The positioning should be set from the chassis towards the ends of the bumpers, NOT from the front of the chassis straight down, as that won’t be sufficient.
BRACKET AND BEAM TYPES
The pressure from wind pushes on bottom/front of the bumper and can cause damage. Properly using brackets extends life of bumper installation.
FLAT METAL SHEET
The least reliable form of support. This shape bends and breaks easily.
CYLINDRICAL BEAM
Main style used in installs. Should not be used for main form of support.
METAL L BRACKET
Most recommended form for additional support. Strong and sturdy.
(Bracket diagrams are meant for guidance only. Every truck is different and may require different approaches to achieve the best results. Always consult a professional installer for proper techniques to be used on your truck. If bumper cracks or breaks it will void chrome warranty.)
HIDDEN LED LIGHT INSTALLATION
USA STAR Special Options
1. Place the bracket with the light on the bolts attached to the bumper. Make sure the light is aligned with the groove.
2. Screw the nuts onto the bolts to fix the bracket and light.
3. Connect the wiring.
Correct Light Position
Incorrect Light Position
4. To avoid displacement, put silicon around the light.

SUCCESS WITH YOUR HIDDEN LIGHT CUTOUTS
The face of your bumper is chromed and the rear/back of the bumper is painted. These coverings work as sealants and help delay your bumper’s metal being exposed to salt and other rust inducing minerals found on the road. The space between the front and back faces of your bumper where the lines are made, are bare, uncovered metal. This bare metal can and will rust if not maintained properly. For the best experience with these light cutouts, add a sealant or paint to these small areas. If this is not done, rust developed from this bare metal may drip down onto the front face of your bumper where your chrome is, and when not wiped off and is left there to sit, will eat away at your chrome.
DETACHABLE GRILLE INSTALL GUIDE
A solution to having access to your tow hook, without the eyesore of the large empty hole.
IN JUST 2 EASY STEPS!
1. Just line up the holes on the insert with the bolts that are already welded on to your bumper.
2. Secure every bolt with a nut.
And the result is one amazing looking bumper!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
INSTALLATION
We strongly recommend a professional installation as you may need additional brackets that are not included with the bumper. Any diagram or instruction provided to you by Miami Star Truck Parts, LLC is solely to be used as a general guide and a professional should always be contacted to indicate the adequate installation procedures for your specific truck.
BRACKETS & MOUNTING
When it comes to custom bumpers, brackets can and do get tricky. Since custom bumpers do not always mount the same way your original bumper does OR the installation points are the same but the weight of your new bumper needs additional support — brackets and mounting of your bumper can be different even when jumping between 2 trucks of the same make/model/year. This is why you will find that some USA STAR bumpers include brackets, while others do not. For those that do include brackets, the brackets are solely for “added support” to your custom mounting brackets your installer will provide. These brackets may require modification in order to use them on your truck. Never solely rely on the brackets provided as all you need for a sturdy installation.
Do:
•Identify the best points for your bumper’s installation on your particular chassis.
•Consult a trusted installation expert.
•Test out the sturdiness of your bumper once on.
WARRANTY
MIAMI STAR TRUCK PARTS, LLC processes manufacturer warranties on our chrome bumpers up to 16” against rusting or peeling of the chrome plated surfaces for a period of one year. The warranty period starts from the invoice date; NOT the install date. Drilling/making additional holes in the bumper voids the warranty. Incorrect installation of the bumper can also void warranty as improper mounting can compromise the chrome. USA STAR bumpers sold on clearance are final sale; no return, no exchange, no warranty. Cracked Bumper Voids the Warranty. Warranty valid only inside United States.
