Do’s & Don’ts of Flitz Liquid Metal Polish
Do:
- Use Flitz Liquid Polish sparingly; just a little bit goes a long way!
- Apply liquid polish with a soft cloth, Flitz Microfiber, or buffing tool like a Flitz BuffBall.
- Use on factory-hot-blued firearms for safe, effective cleaning and restoration.
- Buff and polish the surface after application for maximum shine and protection.
DON’T:
- Let the product dry on surfaces before polishing—especially important given the Liquid Polish's faster drying time.
- Use on electroplated or delicate patina finishes (e.g., hammered copper sinks).
- Apply to Parkerized, oxide-blued, or cold-blued firearm finishes—this may remove the bluing.
How to Use Flitz Liquid Metal Polish
- Apply a small amount of Flitz Liquid Metal Polish with a soft cloth, such as a microfiber cloth or paper towel.
- Rub the surface firmly but gently. For stubborn tarnish, rust, and stains, use #0000 steel wool,
